Blake Hoffarber (born April 27 28th, 1988) was a former college basketball player who played in the position of shooting guard at the University of Minnesota men’s basketball team. The 6’4″ 200-pound Hoffarber has an Minnetonka, Minnesota native who was famous for several highlight reels over the basketball season. The first was in his 2005 Minnesota State High School Basketball Tournament in which he played Eastview High School, for which he was awarded his first best Play ESPY Award. The second was an award-winning buzzer beater during the 2009 Big Ten Tournament against Indiana University in which he was selected for the ESPY award for the best play of the year. He was an academic All-American in 2011.

After college, Hoffarber was invited to the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament NBA pre-draft camp, and had summer workouts with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Milwaukee Bucks, and Washington Wizards, but due to the 2011 NBA Lockout, opted for Europe, where he played for Fos Ouest Provence Basketball in the French professional league LNB Pro B.
