Jane Geddes is one of the most popular and richest Golfer who was born on February 5, 1960 in Huntington, New York, United States. Jane Geddes, born February 5, 1960, is an American professional golfer. In 1983, she joined the LPGA Tour and won two major championships as well as 11 LPGA Tour events. Geddes was Vice President of Talent Relations at WWE.
Geddes founded Planesia, an Internet ecommerce company that she sold in 2001. In 2003, she received a degree from the University of South Florida in criminology. Later, she received a law degree at Stetson University College of Florida. In 2002 and 2003, she was also the assistant captain for the U.S. Solheim Cup Team. She joined the LPGA Tour in January 2007 as Senior Director of Tournament Affairs. Later, she was promoted to Vice President of Competition. She was again promoted to Senior Vice President, Tournament Operations, and Players Services in 2009.
From 2016 to 2019 she served as the Executive Director of the International Association of Golf Administrators.
In April 2017, Geddes was named CEO of Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA), a Florida not-for-profit corporation whose mission is to connect women to learn, play and enjoy golf for business and for fun. The EWGA was acquired by the LPGA and she is now the Executive Director of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association.
Geddes was a winner twice in 1991, and her last win came at the 1994 Chicago Challenge. Geddes was in the Top 20 on nine occasions. She also posted 14 Top 10 finishes at majors, in addition to her two major championship victories. She was one of the LPGA’s top-50 teachers and players in 2000 at the 50th anniversary. Following the 2003 season, she retired from the LPGA Tour.
